Epicenter located about 45 km south-southwest of Faro, indicates IPMA
An earthquake of magnitude 3.3 on the Richter scale was, this Friday, felt in the Algarve area. The information was confirmed by the Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere confirmed.
In a statement, the IPMA said the epicenter was located about 45 km south-southwest of Faro.
"This earthquake, according to the information available so far, did not cause personal or material damage and was felt with maximum intensity II/III (modified Mercalli scale) in the Faro region."
