In the year of celebration of the Park's Centenary, the Serralves Foundation is promoting the 9th edition of the BioBlitz, aimed at the educational community, the general public and families. The BioBlitz is supported by Lipor and its associated municipalities
The BioBlitz is an educational and scientific event of reference within the scope of education and awareness-raising on Biodiversity, the Environment and Sustainability, which seeks to showcase the fauna and flora of Serralves Park through the connection between exploratory, scientific, artistic and cultural methodologies - a contemporary narrative for sustainability, inspired by the Sustainable Development Goal of the 2030 Agenda "Protect Earth Life".
In 2023, the event takes place exclusively in a face-to-face format for the educational community in the week of May 8-12 and for families and the general public on the weekend of May 13-14.
The Bioblitz is a unique opportunity to learn about biodiversity through a diverse programme in Serralves Park, inviting everyone to participate!
