The action, part of the European Week for Waste Reduction 2022 - Street market - Circular Solidarity, took place on 26 November
In an activity open to the community, in the Main Hall of the Administrative Building of the Guifões Parish Council, various goods were made available to the population, completely free of charge, ranging from childcare articles, home textiles, books, toys and, with particular emphasis, clothing, in line with the central theme of the 2022 initiative - Circular Textiles.
Calling for the reuse of goods in good condition, or recycling them, giving them a new purpose, was the motto for the work developed in the Union throughout the Week, in order to raise the community's awareness to the importance of sustainable consumption and the circular economy, as a way to reduce the ecological footprint.
