On the first day of the Healthy Living Week, on 2 May, the Bombeiros Voluntários de Leça do Balio carried out a screening action in the afternoon. In the administrative building of the Junta de Guifões, blood glucose and blood pressure measurements were taken in an initiative open to the community. This screening action aimed to draw the population's attention to the importance of monitoring blood pressure and blood sugar levels.
