Visit to Matosinhos for approximation actions, knowledge and partnerships
Matosinhos and Hong Kong have strengthened relations with the visit of Chris Lo, Representative of the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce, received by the Vice President Carlos Mouta and the Councillor for Economic Development, Trade and Tourism, Marta Pontes.
During the meeting, the Councillor presented Matosinhos' profile as a privileged territory for investments, highlighting its strategic location, human resources, innovation and sustainability, infrastructures, attractiveness to talent and strategic economic sectors.
From the work meeting, resulted a manifestation of interest from both parties to collaborate with approximation actions, knowledge and partnerships. Activities are already planned to bring together companies from Matosinhos and Hong Kong, which may result in new business opportunities for the business community.
This visit is the result of the municipality's work of approaching various international markets and building institutional cooperation relations that will objectively result in new investment and business opportunities for the region.
