In first place in the national ranking of the Water and Waste Services Regulatory Authority
Indaqua Matosinhos leads the national ranking of the 25 entities that provide better sanitation service.
The data are part of the Annual Report of Water and Waste Services in Portugal 2022 of the responsibility of ERSAR - Regulatory Authority for Water and Waste Services.
The assessment focused on the areas of public water supply, wastewater sanitation and urban waste management.
In Matosinhos, the municipal public service of water supply and collection, treatment and drainage of wastewater in the municipality was awarded to Indaqua Matosinhos in 2008 for a period of 25 years.
In the ERSAR ranking, Indaqua Matosinhos is ahead of managing entities of cities such as Braga, Coimbra, Cascais, S. João da Madeira, Tavira, Santa Maria da Feira, Valongo, Albufeira, Cantanhede, Figueira da Foz, among others.
