Registrations are open for a challenge that combines running or walking with waste collection in the Leça Green Corridor
"Revive the Leça" is the name of the initiative that will take place next Saturday, April 22, between 09h00 and 17h00, under the project Plogging Challenge Portugal.
The action will take place in the Leça Green Corridor and its meeting point will be Parque das Varas, in Leça do Balio.
Participants will be challenged in an activity that combines running or walking with the collection of waste in the Leça Green Corridor, contributing to the strengthening of ties between those involved and the biodiversity of the site and collaborating, at the same time, for a more sustainable environment.
The gloves and bags needed for the action will be provided by the Town Hall.
Entries are free, for people over 18 years old, and can be made until April 20 through the link https://forms.gle/NdtHTuxiuJta9Knt7 The Plogging Challenge Portugal project is a national initiative that will be held between 15 and 23 April. Throughout the country will be organized walks with waste collection and recycling.
