Ended this Tuesday, February 21, and after three days of competition the 3rd edition of the International Men's Under-20 Handball Tournament organized by the Handball Club "Os Lusitanos", with the support of the Matosinhos City Hall and Matosinhos Sport

From the 8 competing teams, SL Benfica and FC Porto reached the final, and the victory, after a very disputed game, went to the Dragons. The President of the Handball Association of Porto, Paulo Martins, the President of AC "Os Lusitanos", Francisco Ramos, the Town Councilor for Sports, Vasco Pinho, the President of the Parish Union of Perafita, Lavra and Santa Cruz do Bispo, Lurdes Queirós, and the Executive Director of Matosinhos Sport, Henrique Calisto, among other individuals, were present at the awards ceremony.
Along with that competition, a Match / Practice between the Regional Team of the Handball Association of Porto (AAP) and the Castilla y León Federation, Men's Under 16, was also held in Matosinhos, at the Padrão da Légua municipal pavilion, which was in Portugal to accompany the Under 18 National Team during the participation in the "Next Generation Handball Cup International". The AAP U16 National Team would end up beating its counterpart by 42-36, with the result reflecting the attacking technical quality of both teams and the excellent commitment and speed of the game/training.
