IRS: There are several actions you can take until March 31
If you find any omission or inaccuracy in the expenses or in their calculation, claim the family overhead expenses or the invoices of expenses entitled to VAT deduction by the invoice requirement ascertained by the AT. The claim can be made here between today and March 31.
It should be noted that the category of general expenses allows each taxpayer a deduction from the IRS collection in the amount of 250 euros. This category includes expenses related to water bills, electricity, telecommunications and some products purchased at supermarkets. This category can also include invoices for fuel, clothing, and household appliances, among many others. You can see your expenses for deduction as determined by the AT here.
You must do so, individually, for each expense holder, including dependents, through authentication with the tax identification number (NIF) and the respective access password.
It is also in this period that, from a list of entities available on the Finance Portal, you can choose to whom you want to consign the IRS or VAT. You can do this here.
Until March 31, if you meet the conditions in 2022, you can also apply for registration as a non-habitual resident - NHR. This registration allows you to opt for the NHR regime in the IRS 2022 when you file your tax return from April 1 to June 30.
The submission of the annual income tax return for 2022 starts on April 1 and ends on June 30, and for many thousands of taxpayers this process boils down to the few minutes that it takes to check and confirm the Automatic IRS.
