The Hospitallers on the Pilgrim Way to Santiago arrive in Leça da Balio from 10 to 15 September.

The Monastery of Leça do Balio is once again hosting the medieval fair, which since 2006 has been recreating this landmark on the Way of St James, a place where pilgrims found shelter and where many historical episodes and adventures took place.
It will be a journey back in time, with dancing, falconry, saltimbancos, horse tournaments, music, a re-enactment of the wedding of Ferdinand and Leonor Teles, and much more. The programme will also include various activities for the youngest.
This year the fair will be open to the public for six days, from 10 to 15 September. On the 10th (17h-24h), the 11th and 12th (12h-24h), the 13th and 14th (12h-01h) and the 15th (12h-22h).
The daily ticket price is 2 euros, while the wristband, which gives access to all six days, costs 5 euros. Children up to 1.30 metres tall are free.
Tickets and wristbands can now be purchased in advance at the Quinta de Santiago Museum and the Matosinhos Memory Museum.
