The business ecosystem will have an additional 110,000 square metres of new green spaces and social facilities, offices, restaurants, paddle tennis courts and leisure areas.

The Lionesa Business Hub (LBH) will be sharing its growth, sustainability and innovation strategy at MIPIM, from 11 to 14 March in Cannes, France.
As part of the Greater Porto delegation (which brings together the municipalities of Matosinhos, Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia), LBH's presence aims to reinforce its position as an innovative business centre and top destination for companies and talents, offering ‘everything from a desk to 110,000 square metres of tailor-made office space’.
With expansion projects that will amount to 110,000 square metres of commercial space and 5 hectares of philosophical garden, ‘Portugal's largest business ecosystem’ returns to Europe's largest international real estate and investment fair to present and share its growth strategy.
At MIPIM, the hub's new projects will be presented, including the expansion of office space and catering and other services for the community, which will generate 2,000 new jobs, as well as the adoption of innovative Flex Working and Flex Living solutions. The development of infrastructures dedicated to sports and leisure, including paddle tennis courts and a sports club, is another area of investment, helping to reinforce LBH's policy of implementing an active and balanced lifestyle within the business ecosystem.
‘We are introducing thousands of square metres of new green spaces, along with social, sports and leisure facilities, to create an environment where businesses and people can continue to thrive. In an increasingly competitive market, where the selection of a work environment goes beyond the conventional office, LBH is investing in an integrated approach that brings together culture, well-being and sustainability as essential and decisive elements in attracting and retaining talent,’ says Eduarda Pinto, LBH's executive director.
The Lionesa Business Hub is Portugal's leading entrepreneurial ecosystem, perfectly integrating innovation with a dynamic community. With 120 companies, including FedEx, Oracle and Vestas, it promotes collaboration between 7,000 professionals of more than 47 nationalities.
