Mar Shopping Matosinhos promotes health and well-being with ‘Sleep Mode’ initiative

An initiative aimed at all ages, it aims to promote mental health and well-being through a variety of actions designed to improve sleep quality.

Mar Shopping Matosinhos will be promoting ‘Sleep Mode’, a global initiative that aims to promote well-being by improving sleep quality, with numerous activities from 4 to 20 October.

Aware that sleep problems are now a public health issue, the MAR Shopping Matosinhos - and MAR Shopping Algarve - Meeting Places will have spaces where various awareness-raising activities will take place to promote restorative sleep. At MAR Shopping Matosinhos, the Sleep Mode experience will feature a range of interactive experiences and activities that will help you discover the best ways to sleep more peacefully, such as workshops, talks, story times, yoga and massages, among other initiatives, all of which will be free of charge.

There will also be space for Momento Zen, an exclusive and free event for users registered with the MAR Shopping Matosinhos APP. This action takes place on 6, 13 and 20 October, between 2pm and 4pm, in periods of approximately 15 minutes, consisting of pressure, sliding, friction and joint mobilisation techniques inspired by oriental techniques.

All the activities take place on Level 0, from Monday to Friday, from 14:00 to 22:00, and Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 22:00.
