Medicines go up in price to avoid stock-outs

The Ministry of Health will move forward with a set of measures to facilitate access to medicines and avoid stock-outs

Among the planned measures is the "controlled increase in the prices of cheaper drugs.

In this sense, "medicines with a retail price (RRP) up to 10 euros have their price updated by 5%," while medicines "with prices between 10 and 15 euros will be updated by 2%," says the ministry led by Manuel Pizarro, in a statement released on Wednesday, January 18.
