October is just around the corner and with it comes a new edition of the "Motherhood Marathon”
This year, the walk for solidarity will take place in person, in Porto, and online, thus allowing all families to participate.
Scheduled for October 15, the walk, with a three-kilometer route, starts at the Transparent Building, goes to the Molhe Beach and returns to the starting point. During and after the walk, the promoters indicate that there will be "moments of physical exercise adapted for pregnant women in which the whole family can participate.
The usual "Maternity Fair" will also take place that day, where more than 15 companies from the areas of women's health, childcare, food and baby hygiene will be present. The fair will take place on the 2nd floor of the Transparent Building and can be visited between 10am and 6pm.
The fair will also have a space for children, with activities and games, offer of massages for pregnant women and 4D ultrasound sessions.
Thinking of all the families who cannot join the activity in person, the promoters have also organized a virtual "Maternity Marathon", challenging families to perform, individually or in groups, a three-kilometer walk in a place of their choice. Afterwards, they must share a photo on their social networks, identifying BebéVida and Vida Norte. The walk can be done on October 15 and 16.
The initiative will have, as always, a charitable nature with the value of the entries going to the Vida Norte association.
