More than 30 thousand visitors expected at Exponor
“Create the future” is the theme of this year's edition of Qualifica - Education, Training, Youth and Employment Fair, taking place between today and Saturday, at Exponor.
A study by the "Institute For The Future" states that 85% of the jobs performed in 2030 have not been invented yet, so this year Qualifica intends to give stage to the professions of the future.
Over the next four days, about 30,000 students from all over the country are expected to attend. There are more than 140 exhibitors, including national and foreign universities, polytechnics, armed forces, professional schools, security forces, municipalities, youth parties, innovative education agencies, among many others.
One of the novelties this year is the "Create the Future" Arena, a space that offers visitors the opportunity to create memories with interactive activities, where virtual reality is very present, with the presentation of products and experiences.
Parallel to the exhibition area, a program of talks will take place, dedicated to teachers, counselors and young people, who will discuss the demands of the coming years.
The first day of Qualifica was marked by the visit of the Secretary of State for Education, António Leite, and the Alderman of Education of the Municipality of Matosinhos, António Correia Pinto.
The Municipality of Matosinhos is present at Qualifica with a stand that, among other things, presents the Digital Platform of the Training Offer, an informative, interactive and constantly updated online space that integrates, in a single place, the different educational and training offers existing in the educational establishments of Matosinhos.
On this platform you can find search tools that allow you to explore and access more detailed information about Vocational Courses, Education and Training Courses, Technical Higher Vocational Courses, Adult Education and Training Courses, Bachelor's degrees, among other forms of education and training.
