STCP operates with “summer” hours from Thursday

From the 16th of June, Thursday, the operation of STCP – Sociedade de Transportes Colectivos do Porto will undergo some adjustments in terms of frequency, in order to correspond to the levels of demand that occur in the summer period.

With the end of face-to-face activity in many schools, the reinforcement of the timetables of several lines to accommodate the high number of students at the times of entry and exit in these establishments is no longer necessary, therefore most bus lines will be taken to the working days the usual “school holidays/summer” schedule. But trips to the beach also begin during this period and, therefore, to accommodate these new seasonal trips, the lines of the STCP network will be reinforced on weekends and holidays, which take routes close to the seafront, as well as the two lines to Matosinhos beach.
