The award aims to highlight a young person from Matosinhense for their differentiating and meritorious work
Rui Pinto, a young man from the Portuguese Red Cross, received the Young Associativist Award given by the Vice-President of the Chamber, Carlos Mouta.
The main objective of this award is to highlight a young person from Matosina for their differentiating and meritorious work in the community of the municipality or in the association, in which he is an associative leader or volunteer.
For this purpose, each association sent a video with a description of the work developed by the young person, which was submitted to the community vote.
The video that received the most votes was by Rui Pinto from the Portuguese Red Cross, to which a symbolic piece and a certificate were awarded.
The importance of these initiatives among young people is highlighted, in order to identify and promote examples of participatory citizenship, motivating others to these practices.
The initiative was organized in partnership with the Federation of Youth Associations of the District of Porto.
